Sumo Power announcement; FIA GT1 calendar confirmed

Sumo Power GT, has signed a partnership agreement with NISMO (Nissan Motorsports International Co Ltd) to run two Nissan GT-Rs in this year’s inaugural FIA GT1 World Championship.

James Rumsey, managing director for the JRM Group (formerly ADR Motorsport, which prepared Mitsubishi UK’s rally Lancer Evos), said: “I am delighted that we have been awarded the contract to run the two GT-Rs. Working with NISMO is a great opportunity for us and the project fits perfectly into our company structure. We have an experienced team of people already in place, purpose-built premises with extensive engineering facilities and an existing parts distribution operation. It’s going to be an exciting year ahead.”
