The FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy has announced that Swedish-based Teng Tools is to become the championship’s Official Tools Supplier for the remainder of the 2015 season. The partnership expands on Teng Tools’ long-term relationship with reigning World Champion, Petter Solberg.

The new association grants Teng Tools global merchandising rights of the World RX brand for both online and in-store Point of Sale (POS) promotion of licensed products. In addition, a content feature will be produced showcasing how essential the Teng Tools product range is for building and maintaining Solberg’s Citroen DS3 Supercar in World RX which will be aired during a live race broadcast.

Furthermore, the partnership will also include a variety of exposure and activation rights onsite during race weekends.

“It’s an honour to become the Official Tools Supplier for World RX,” explained Claes Nilsson, CEO of Teng Tools International.” Our partnership with Petter has been a huge success and we are looking to promote our “Get Organised” campaign even further through this new venture. IMG has done a fantastic job in raising the profile of rallycross and we are excited to be working with them for the remainder of the 2015 season and on future collaborations.”

“We are delighted to welcome Teng Tools as our latest partner at World Championship level,” added Martin Anayi, World RX managing director for IMG. “They are a fantastic brand with great heritage, already bolstered by their close relationship with Petter Solberg. This new partnership is something we firmly believe will be a real win-win for all involved.”
