Teased on his team’s Facebook page, Galli’s car for the 2016 season will be based on the Kia Rio. The car is still undergoing development at present and will be officially unveiled next month, before making its track debut in early October. At present, it is unknown as to the level of input from the Korean OEM, but the manufacturer was one of several allegedly shortlisted by the team.

Galli has previously contested the championship, making a wildcard apperance at the Italian round of the 2014 championship with the Ford Olsbergs MSE squad, in which he reached the semifinals. The Rio RX will make its competitive debut at the 2015 running of the same event.
