DokiCam, a Chinese manufacturer of 360° cameras, has launched its latest unit, specifically designed for extreme sports image and video capture. According to its manufacturer, the new camera requires minimal set up and is supplied with an ‘easy to use’ app, opening up 360° video capture to a range of new customers.

The camera can capture 4K stills, 3K videos, livestreaming and uses a ‘one-click’ sharing platform to export the content to social media sites. With an IP54 rating, DokiCam is water resistant and durable against dust, which DokiCam states is perfect for outdoor use and fast-paced activities.

Super portable and lightweight, the pocket size DokiCam is no bigger than a tennis ball and weighs 140g. It can be mounted on a tripod, handlebars, or helmet to get that perfect shot. With a slightly raised shutter button, it’s easy to operate while mounted.

The camera body features two dual fisheye lens DokiCam with an image resolution of 4896x2448px for stills, and 2880x1440px for video. Content can be shared and saved in Tiny Planet, VR, Fisheye, and Hemisphere 360° mode. Each format can be previewed in real-time, in the DokiCam app. The app, available in both iOS and Android formats, has a ‘host’ of editing tools for images and videos, plus one-click sharing to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
