ZF (Stand 4073) has developed a new suspension system for the TCR. Homologated for use in the TCR versions of the SEAT León, Audi RS3 and VW Golf, the high-strength aluminium suspension has been designed to be lightweight, bend-proof and sturdy.

Olivier Lardon, a chassis technology team member at ZF, said at PMW Expo 2018, “Our latest suspension product, the ZF Race TCR Suspension, has been so popular that it has actually sold out.”

The system allows for two-way adjustment of shock rebound and bump, as well as ride height, without either one interfering with the other. Shock absorber adjustment is very precise, with 20 even clicks.

ZF has integrated an additional damping valve to obtain the best compromise between high damping pressure and low gas filling pressure for the best-possible response. And if all that doesn’t suit your needs, it can be further optimized by ZF’s dealer network for a specific application.

“Our suspension technology features in multiple series, including Formula 1 and Formula E – where we have been involved for the last three seasons. We make a different suspension system for each series application,” added Lardon.
