Finalists announced for the 2018 edition of the Professional MotorSport World Expo Awards

In just over a week’s time, an exclusive judging panel of more than 20 leading motorsport journalists will reveal who they have selected as the winners and runners up for the 2018 edition of the Professional MotorSport World Expo Awards, during an exclusive gala dinner held on November 7 at the Köln Messe.

The awards recognize the efforts of individuals, teams and suppliers across the industry, via six dedicated categories: Motorsport Facility of the Year; Motorsport Technology of the Year; European Race Series Team of the Year; International Race Car of the Year; Outstanding Contribution of the Year; and the eagerly anticipated UK Young Rally Driver of the Year.

Those hoping to pick up a trophy next week at a glittering gala dinner held in the Köln Messe’s impressive Kristallsaal include leading teams from the WRC, British F4, Formula 3, Dutch Supercars and GT4 Pro-AM, as well as technology vendors such as Motordrive Seats, Integral Powertrain, Cosworth, Bosch Motorsport, EEC Performance Systems and Bcomp.

Last year’s awards saw UK-based World Rally team M-Sport pick up the Race Car of the Year and Motorsport Engineer of the Year accolades, while Jackie Chan DC Racing emerged victorious in the Motorsport Team category, just pipping DJR Team Penske, Abt Sportsline, JAS Motorsport, Renault e.Dams, and PSRX Volkswagen to the finish line!
