McLaren Applied Technologies teams up with MTS to create Vehicle Dynamics Simulator

McLaren Applied Technologies and MTS have created a new Vehicle Dynamics Simulator. The next-generation driving simulator is engineered to provide auto makers and Tier 1 suppliers with a means of accelerating and streamlining the development processes of road vehicles. Tim Stafford, automotive director, Guillaume Le Goff, business manager and Adam Staton, simulation engineer at McLaren Applied Technologies explain the key points of the system, which has 40cm (16in) of travel – 10 times that of a motorsport simulator.
