Revised Dash2Pro from Race Technology

Race Technology has unveiled the latest version of its popular Dash2 Pro driver display system. Revised for 2015, the unit’s new features are illustrated above. In addition, the new version also features a built-in ECU Interface option that allows ECU data decoding for serial data ECUs. A CAN communication option, for CAN-data ECUs, is also available.

The Dash2 connects to the ECU via a serial port on the rear of the unit, and uses a single cable. Race Technology states that this aids installation time, and results in a much neater, and tidier installation.

The connection allows the dash unit to take, and display, data directly from an aftermarket ECU, and is compatible with ECUs from most major suppliers such as Omex, Pectel, Emerald, AEM, MoTeC, and many more. The simplified installation is complimented by a simple customization process (below) which allows the easy enabling and disabling of channels to ensure the dash displays exactly what the driver requires.

In addition to the ECU Interface, the Dash2Pro is offered with a range of enhancement options to further customize the unit. Complete data logging with GPS and integrated accelerometers; access vehicle sensor data via the CAN bus or ECU; and control external systems with the output drivers or PWM outputs are all available as options on the dash unit.
