Design Engineering Inc (DEI) has released a heat-reflective sleeve for karters, aiming to reduce the heat transfer from engine and exhaust to the driver’s arms.

The ‘Go-Kart Reflective Arm Band Sleeve’, is a heat resistant thermal sleeve said to help reduce the transfer of heat and improve drivers comfort. Available in three sizes – small, medium and large, the sleeve slips over the racesuit, protecting the driver from the forearm to the shoulder. Developed with DEI’s heat reflective material with an inner elastic liner, it allows for normal movement while protecting from direct heat up to 400° F.
