Dunlop has renewed its partnership with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) for the 6 Days FIM Enduro of Nations in Italy this August.
Multiple teams at all levels have chosen the Dunlop Geomax EN91 tires for the race that will take place in the northern Italian city of Bergamo on Sunday, August 24 to Friday, August 29.
Introduced in 2021, the Dunlop Geomax Challenge program offers support for riders and teams in the Club Team Award category using Dunlop Geomax tires. Participants in this category are eligible for a tire package offer, official Dunlop rider kit and exclusive prizes (such as a Dunlop Sparco racing seat and passes to MXGP races) that are awarded to the top five positions.
Dunlop enduro racers are familiar with the tire, which has equipped previous 6 Days class winners as well as Enduro European and Junior Enduro World champions in recent years. Professional and club riders alike will be able to experience the same versatility and grip over a wide range of riding conditions. This year, Dunlop is introducing new specifications of mousses to provide even further protection on the unpredictable terrain. Dunlop teams in all classes will also have access to Dunlop’s licensed service provider, Barani Gomme, which will provide support throughout the event.
Roberto Finetti, marketing manager, Dunlop Motorcycle Europe, said, “We’re thrilled to renew our long-standing partnership with the FIM by bringing the Dunlop Geomax Challenge back for the 99th edition of the iconic 6 Days in Italy. This event is more than just a race – it’s a celebration of passion, performance, and the trust riders place in Dunlop to conquer the toughest terrain.
“The Geomax Challenge is designed to spotlight rider talent and elevate competition, offering a premium platform for both club and amateur riders. The 6 Days is one of the few global events where amateurs line up alongside professional riders, and we’re proud to support them all with our cutting-edge Geomax tire technology. We can’t wait to see our Geomax tires in action on Italian soil and to celebrate the incredible achievements of every rider taking part.”
Fabio Muner, FIM marketing and digital director, added, “We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Dunlop for this year’s 6 Days, a relationship that has seen us work together for six years since we first joined forces in 2019. The Dunlop Geomax EN91 tire is highly regarded in the sport of Enduro and the 6 Days will again provide the ultimate testing platform for this product.
“Dunlop will bring important technical support to the amateur competitors who will be able to enter the Dunlop Geomax Challenge. Finally on behalf of the FIM I would like to thank Dunlop for renewing their support.”
