ByKolles rolls out Vanwall-branded Le Mans Hypercar

Despite not having a 2022 entry to the WEC, ByKolles has shaken down its Vanwall-branded LMH at Zweibrücken Airport in Germany.

The Gibson V8-powered machine ran successfully at the hands of test driver Christophe Bouchut. However, what the team will actually do with the car remains uncertain, as there is currently no accommodation for LMH entries to be run on a race-by-race basis in the WEC.

Furthermore, the use of the Vanwall name is currently under investigation by the European Union Intellectual Property Office, due to a UK-based group contesting ByKolles’ rights to the name.
