Supercars Eseries begins development of Mustang and Commodore

Virgin Australia Supercars has revealed that virtual variants of the Ford Mustang and Holden Commodore ZB Supercars are being developed for use in the Gfinity Supercars Eseries. The two vehicles are expected to debut in 2020.

US company iRacing is currently collaborating the series and its homologation teams to add the latest-generation cars to the platform. The VF Commodore and the FG Falcon are already featured.

With the VF Commodores and FG Falcons qualified for this year’s Eseries, Walkinshaw Andretti United, Boost Mobile Racing, Brad Jones Racing and Red Bull Holden Racing Team have committed to taking part.
