The lap length of the Singapore Grand Prix track is now 2m shorter as a result of tweaks made to two of the circuit’s corners.

For this year’s race at the Marina Bay Circuit, turns 16 and 17 have been realigned. The changes mean that the official length of the circuit is now 5.065km rather than 5.063km. The full race distance will be 308.706km.

In addition to the minor change to turns 16 and 17, the track has been resurfaced in several parts. New asphalt has been laid around the first turn, between turns 5 and 7, turns 15 and 17, and around turn 23.
