SHOW NEWS: Nano technology infused oil

Millers Oils will be showcasing Nanodrive, its unique, multi award winning ultra-low friction oil, at the 2016 Professional MotorSport World Expo.

This Fully Synthetic Triple Ester based oil with Nano Technology formulation that provides up to a 78% reduction in friction and reduction in wear, compared to other synthetic based grades.

The coefficient of friction also reduces rapidly as the engine temperature rises, ensuring users see a significant increase in power and performance. Lower friction means less power, meaning more power to the wheels and potentially more speed. It makes an engine more durable due to reduced wear, as well as reducing the frequency of engine builds and costs.

Cutting friction within the engine will reduce wear on engine parts and the heat generated, as well as giving drivers more power at the wheels. This is done using nanoparticles which act like millions of ball bearings, together with ingredients that smooth out the surface roughness of the metal engine parts.

Tested against a competitor’s oil of the same viscosity, the company recorded 33% lower friction at operating temperatures of 110°C.

Millers Oils can be found on stand 2088 at the 2016 Professional MotorSport World Expo.
