One of the UK’s leading motorsport distributors, Brown & Geeson Ltd, has announced the introduction of the RPS LB-B35 Battery. Utilizing the latest lithium-ion technology, the RPS battery is helping a number of teams optimize the weight distribution of their competition cars, by replacing existing, heavy lead acid batteries.

Developed for use on competition engines up to 2000cc in capacity, and with an alternator, the LB-B35 also has the added benefit of lowering a car’s CoG, by being smaller and lighter than traditional battery packs. Li-ion batteries are also sealed, allowing them to be mounted in any orientation, even on their side.

The RPS-LB-B35 battery has a nominal voltage of 13.2v and a nominal capacity of 16.0Ah (211Wh). The charge current is 40A and the pulse cranking current is 840A.
