Lemo and Renault e.dams announce new partnership

The Renault e.dams Formula E team has announced a new agreement with precision connector and cable designer Lemo.

Lemo branding will adorn e.dam’s Renault Z.E.15 from the Buenos Aires ePrix, the fourth round of the FIA’s all-electric racing series, which takes place on the streets of the Argentinian capital on February 6.

Despite the championship’s relative infancy, it is attracting increasing crowd numbers to city centre races, something that Lemo believes will provide an ‘ideal platform’ for it to expand into electric racing, whilst working with the Renault e.dams squad to develop new technology.

“Having known Alain and Nicolas Prost for some time and wanting to expand our exposure into more motorsport categories, it was only natural for Lemo to choose Renault e.dams as a partner,” explained Alexandre Pesci, Lemo CEO. “Given the impact that Formula E has had since its inception, it is a great platform for us to explore new products, materials and cable technology. We look forward to how the partnership may develop in the future.”

“Obviously, we’d like to thank Lemo for their support and trust,” added Alain Prost, Renault e.dams senior team manager. “They are a well-known and respected brand with a passion for motor racing, which made them the perfect choice for us. This partnership will allow us to progress and help us become even more competitive.”
