SHOW NEWS: Hewland celebrating 60th anniversary at show

0

Over the past 60 years, Hewland has established itself as one of the bench mark brands for performance transmissions. The UK manufacturer will be demonstrating its range of products at the 2017 Professional MotorSport World Expo, such as the Ligier JSP217 LMP2 transmission, a LWS-200 high-torque GT transmission as well as a high performance racing electric vehicle transmission.

The new lightweight, highly-efficient EV reducer is aimed at race applications and joins the company’s growing range of race, and road EV gearboxes. The lightweight package tips the scales under 19kg for the torque vectoring gearbox, and just 55kg when combined with two high-speed radial electric motors.

In addition to Hewland’s comprehensive range of transmissions, the brand will be unveiling its refreshed branding; coinciding with the company’s 60th Anniversary. The company is also looking to forge new working relationships with those in the motorsport’s industry, with design engineers and the commercial team from Hewland on hand to discuss your transmission requirements.

Hewland can be found at the 2017 Professional MotorSport World Expo, Booth 4035.
