Bridgestone has announced it will launch the Battlax Racing Street RS12 premium sports motorcycle tire in January 2026 in Europe and North America, and in February 2026 in Japan.
Developed under the concept ‘From Circuit to Street’, the RS12 incorporates race tire technology to offer the highest dry grip performance in Bridgestone’s road-legal Battlax line-up.

The tire is equipped with a compound developed based on technologies built up through racing tire development. It also features a new tread pattern with an optimized groove ratio to deliver superior grip performance through enhanced tire rigidity and an increased contact area during cornering.
For the front tire, the HE-MS Belt structure – used in the world’s top-level motorcycle races – has been adopted for the first time for a commercial tire. The flexible belt equalizes contact pressure to further enhance grip.
Lap time has been significantly reduced compared to the previous tire model, the Battlax Racing Street RS11, said Bridgestone.
