McLaren Applied appoints HCI Systems as distributor

HCI Systems is to be the distributor for McLaren Applied’s products in the UK, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Now into its 10th year of trading, HCI Systems specializes in the design, manufacture and fitment of electrical and electronic systems. From one-off prototype design and specification to complex medium-run production, HCI’s in-house manufacturing service provides complete turn-key solutions for motorsports, automotive, defense and marine applications.

“To be selected as the UK, Sweden, Norway and Finland distributor for such a prestigious global brand is a great honor for all of us at HCI Systems,” said Mike Tickner, director of HCI.”

McLaren Applied head of motorsport accounts Richard Saxby said, “We are delighted to have Mike and the HCI team as an official distributor within our official global distributor network and look forward to a long and successful relationship.”

Working across top-tier series including Formula 1, Formula E and WRC, as well as with commercial, autonomous and high-performance automotive customers, the Midlands-based company is well placed to meet the timeframes, tolerances and technical requirements of McLaren Applied’s clients.
