Ricardo finalizes 2020 Formula E transmission design

Ricardo has finalized the design for the latest generation of transmissions for the 2020 Formula E season. This marks the start of the company’s fourth year of supporting the all-electric street race competition.

“The ABB FIA Formula E Championship represents the pinnacle of electric motorsport performance and Ricardo is proud to be part of its development, especially given the record of the competition in driving innovation to benefit the entire electric vehicle sector,” said Martin Starkey, MD for Ricardo Performance Products.
