Lamborghini Squadra Corse has carried out the first engine fire-up for its new track-only hypercar at the manufacturer’s Sant’Agata Bolognese factory in Italy. The 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine is expected to deliver 830hp.

Developed by the Centro Stile department of Squadra Corse, the Lamborghini hypercar will feature a large rear wing, airscoop on the roof and a racing hood with dual air intakes. The track car will also be equipped with an aluminum front frame, a carbon fiber monocoque and an innovative self-locking differential.
