RacingSyn, an engineering alliance, has launched to connect experienced engineering professionals and offer a one-stop shop for projects large and small across a range of motorsport disciplines.
By bringing a new perspective to the recruitment process, RacingSyn reportedly enables manufacturers and teams to scale up engineering capacity based on demand, all with the reassurance of an experienced, proven line-up of staff.
With 270 years of experience in rally, rally raid, endurance, GT racing, Formula 1 and more, RacingSyn’s roster has the expertise and comprehensive approach of an elite engineering team, with the flexibility and reactivity of freelancers.
Founded by Emanuele Battisti, a chief designer and project manager in Formula 1, World Rally Championship and GT at companies such as Ralliart, Prodrive, Toyota Gazoo Racing and M-Sport, RacingSyn aims to support the motorsport industry with agile engineering solutions.
“I know firsthand the challenges involved in finding the right skills in a short timeframe to fulfill a project with ambitious targets,” said Battisti. “By founding RacingSyn, I’ve decided to bring together all the knowledge and insight gained across multiple levels of motorsport into a hub of motorsport engineering expertise, a dynamic alliance of elite engineers.
“Our first projects are already underway, and we are working hard to expand our client base and support the racing industry, from rapid feasibility studies to complete vehicle development programs.”
As a plug-and-play engineering partner, the organization aims to deliver experienced engineers across all major aspects of race car design, development and operation. Connecting experts with experience in CAD and finite element analysis, through to powertrain development, aerodynamic development and CFD analysis, the alliance aims to provide support to companies large and small from the drawing-board stage of a project. It also has contacts for those specializing in braking systems and electronic systems, trackside and test engineering as well as marketing and communications knowledge, offering 360° support.
In addition to vehicle development, RacingSyn offers proven motorsport-specific supply chain and procurement experts, as well as project and resource management skills to help keep projects on track and within budget.
The alliance is growing its network with talented freelance engineers to increase its capacity and meet customer demand.
Thanks to RacingSyn’s wide network of engineers, the alliance also plays a role in shaping sustainable motorsport by supporting the development of electric, hydrogen and sustainable fuel projects.
