Dynapack Chassis Dynamometers are produced by International Dynamometers in New Zealand. The company has been producing hub-mounted chassis dyno products for over a decade, and has been expanding into new markets around the world.

Its hub-mounted dyno design eliminates the typical steel rollers used in rolling-road designs, and the inconsistencies in the tire-to-roller interface. As a result, measurements are much more consistent and repeatable, the machines have the added benefit of being much quieter in operation, and offer greatly improved safety. Power absorption and loading is handled by hydraulic-load brakes in each wheel pod, and the brakes are computer-controlled by a user interface that runs on a Windows platform. Load levels can be user-defined or automatically controlled by the software. All measured information is displayed in real time, is logged continuously for display in graph or numeric form, and can be exported for use on other systems.

The modular design of the Dynapack also means it is portable and can be stored out of the way when not in use. The machines operate on single-phase 120V or 240V power with very low current requirements, making the systems very economical to operate.
Dynapack systems are available in two- or four-wheel-drive models, and custom systems such as six-wheel vehicles, bi-directional applications, and human-performance dynamometers can also be built to suit unique requirements.
